Research Interests
Primary areas of research interest: Differential equations and Lie symmetries, symmetry classification for DEs. Algorithms for overdetermined systems of partial differential equations.
Other areas of research interest: Spherical harmonic shading models in computer graphics. Infinite Lie pseudogroups. Mathematical and numerical modelling of soil erosion and soil water movement.
Other areas of expertise: Computer algebra. Mathematical demography. Input-output economic models. Operations research (linear programming, queues).
