Welcome to the Human-Centred Computing Lab at the Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering at the University of Canberra!

The HCC Lab's mission is to perform world-leading research in all aspects of human-computer interaction (HCI) / human-machine interaction (HMI). The core researchers for the HCC Lab include:

  • Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), including Auditory-Visual ASR
  • Speaker Recognition / Verification / Authentication
  • Face and Facial Feature Tracking
  • Facial Expression Recognition
  • Affective Computing, Affective Sensing
  • Multimodal HCI
